What we use instead

This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless. Cloudflare Web Analytics records aggregate page views and basic anonymous data using a JavaScript beacon, but does not set cookies, does not fingerprint visitors and does not track visitors across other websites.

Operational cookies

If our hosting provider, Cloudflare, sets short-lived cookies for security or anti-bot purposes (for example a __cf_bm cookie), these are essential to the operation of the site and do not require consent under UK guidance.

How to opt out

Because we do not use tracking cookies, there is nothing to opt out of. You can disable JavaScript in your browser if you do not want the Cloudflare analytics beacon to run; this will not affect your ability to read the site.
